chapter 2
The horses galloped towards cornelius. he stared at the ashen remains of his house. He saw nothing. Rearing madly, the elegant horse skidded to a halt infront of him, kicking up clouds of dust with their hooves. one of the men dismounted and stood in front of him.
"cornelius, my old friend!" Lied the short fat man. He was covered in armour and his helmet shone brightly.
"I will never be your friend, Ammos so why don't you just take me away. you have took my home and family away. Merlock has the vorpal sword and I have served my purpose in this miserable world." Cornelius frowned at the funny little man and held out his hands. He felt the cold steel wrap around his wrists. A bind that could not be broken for now. Cuffs tight around his wrists and shackles around his feet, cornelius knew that his debt with stealing the vorpal sword was repayed, and when he looked into the mirror he would so another man. A man who had put his life in danger to save his children.
The last thing he remembered that night was the graceful rock to sleep of the horse's canter. An icy fist clamped over his heart. Blackness.
Chapter 1. the beginning
The beginning of this story starts with a fire. Sometimes they destroy lives, Sometimes they end them, but this one changed the lives of many people. This fire was the small flame the people needed. The start of a raging inferno, so dangerous, that nothing could stop it. Something so amazing that it would set the world alight with its pure brilliance. Their eyes bright with the eternal flame that burns in our hearts.
The flames licked the paint off the walls like ice cream, and the thatched roof caved in. seeping to the ground like sinking sand, the house was raised to the ground.
Merlock and his father ran out of the burning house. Smoke spiralled out of the windows like to dark snakes. Elspeth leapt through the window, coughing. She carried only one thing. The most important – the vorpal sword. In a flash of fire, the house collapsed, and the ashen remains were the only thing left.
The kings men galloped towards them on their horses. Their farther gave Elspeth a nod and she whistled. Out of the forest galloped a snow white unicorn- harmony. He bent his head low and Elspeth stroked his silky mane.
“father?” merlock  asked as his father silenced him.
“the kings men have come to take me away. Beware the jabberwock my son, with claws that catch and jaws that bite. Beware the jubjub bird, and shun, the ferocious bandersnatch. Take this  vorpal sword and go forth to your destiny. I cannot be sure of what lies ahead, for both of us, but go while you can. Elspeth will show you the way. Goodbye my son… perhaps for forever.”
And so he jumped upon the unicorn's back, with silver horn and snow white mane as he and his sister galloped to the unknown. One of them to meet their doom.
