the taming of the shrew continued

The next morning, Katherine was meek and uttered no harsh word. Dear Katherine, becoming so kind and so mild, and I was beginning to like her prodigiously.

So tired and hungry, I pitied Katherine and gave her mattress on her bed.

“Thank you.” She murmured, and I was so surprised and pleased, I gave her blankets as well.

Sitting down at the table, Katherine was surprised to find beef and mustard waiting for her. Starving, tired, and docile, Katherine ate her beef and mustard.

  Days past, and Katherine became so loving and generous. I could not believe it. I hope that she was starting to love me, for I was starting to love her back.

My journey to see Athos was drawing nearer every day with Katherine went so fast, but I wanted her to live in a beautiful house. I wanted her to be as happy as I was.
